For a payment of $20 per holiday, or $80 for all 5 “flag placement days”, Gratitude Charlottesville will place a United States flag in your front yard in the morning, and remove it that evening. The flag is 3×5, and flown on an 8 foot hollow pole, slid over a steel rod, and temporarily placed in the ground near the foot of the property owner’s driveway.

Active, retired or military Veterans can engage this service for FREE.

Note: In the event of rain, flags will not be placed out of respect. Refunds are not issued based on rain. Paying participants in the Flag Placement Day Program are billed annually. If you need to stop your flag placement please fill out the cancellation form.
