Many local nonprofits have had a fundraiser or two cancelled or postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Hence, the “Bid Bash Auction” series was born. This online auction series hosted by Gratitude Charlottesville is bringing nonprofits and the community together to have some fun and raise some funds! Our inaugural Bid Bash Auction in June 2020 had over 50 items and raised $11K for area nonprofits, and we plan to grow from here!
How to participate as a NONPROFIT:
Participation is open to all 501(C)3 nonprofits in Central Virginia. You submit auction items and receive 80% of the proceeds from the sale of your auction items. “Shelf space” will be limited to 100 items per auction, so first come, first served. Limit 5 items per organization, minimum value for items must be $250.
How to participate as a BUSINESS:
Businesses enrolled in the Gratitude Charlottesville Directory may donate items to the online auction and the proceeds from the sale of those items, will go to the qualified charity(ies) of the businesses’ choice.
